Relaxing at the seaside

Who needs to go abroad when we have such a beautiful Suffolk coastline? From sitting on the beach watching the sunrise, to a peaceful night stroll, its a must!

In the summer you can enjoy swimming, making sandcastles, having fun in the arcades, a game of crazy golf or just relaxing in a deckchair ... you deserve it.

In the winter, wrap up warm and take a stroll down to the beach. Great photo opportunities too.

Going to a Concert or Festival

Throughout the year Aldeburgh, Southwold & Snape Maltings are renowned for their Book Festivals, Proms & Concerts.

Each July in Henham Park (7 miles north from us on the A12) the festival Lattitude is held.

Each August at Glemham Hall (8 miles south from us on the A12) the festival Folk East is held.

Birdwatching & Wildlife

RSPB Minsmere

In Autumn, bird migration is in full swing with a continuous stream of birds passing through. Wading birds on the Scrape may include curlew sandpipers, little stints or ruffs and perhaps a rare visitor from North America. The red deer rut is the star attraction on the heath during October.
